Welcome to the Summer Hill Lakers Netball Club
Summer Hill Lakers Netball Club welcomes everybody who wants to be involved in netball! Social games, competitive teams, coaching, umpiring, and skills based programs - there is something for everyone.

We play at Cintra Park in Concord, and train at Richard Murden Reserve in Haberfield.

  • Winter Competition - 18 April to 5 September (includes final series)

  • All of our Winter Competitions are played on Saturday's and are open to players from 5 years to 95 years.
    - Net Set Go - Girls and Boys (5-7yrs)
    - Modified  - Girls and Boys (8-9yrs)
    - Junior -  Girls and Boys (10-15yrs)
    - Cadet  - Girls and Mixed (16-17yrs)
    - Senior  - Women, Men and Mixed (18yrs+)
    - All Abilities (15yrs+)

  • All games are played at Cintra Park Netball Courts - Crane St, Concord.  

  • ​Playing times are fixed each week, once the draw is published on PlayHq.
     

​​💜 2026 Summer competition registrations will open later in 2026

  • 10 weeks starting 6 & 7 October until 8 & 9 December.

  • Our Summer Competition is played on Tuesdays and Wednesday nights 

  • ​All games are played at Cintra Park Netball Courts - Crane St, Concord. 

  • Tuesday night divisions - Juniors (10-15yrs) from 6pm, Cadet (16-17yrs) and Senior Women (18yrs+) from 7pm. ​

  • Wednesday nights divisions - Modified (8-9yrs), 

  • No training for Summer Season.

NetSetGo! Mini Magpies

For players aged 5-7

NetSetGo! is the national program for children aged 5-7 learning the basics of netball. The program runs on Tuesday afternoons at Hawthorne Parade, Haberfield for 10 weeks during the regular season.

Modified teams

For players aged 8 & 9

Modified teams are aged 8 & 9 and play modified rules. This helps young players become accustomed to the game of netball without the competition element. Games are played on grass courts, and scores are not kept.

Junior teams

For players aged 10-15

Junior teams are aged 10-15. These teams play on hard courts on Saturday mornings, with full rules. There is a variety of grades for players at all levels of experience.

Cadets

For players aged 16 & 17

Cadets are teams aged 16 & 17. They play the Senior afternoon timeslots against other Cadet-aged teams.

Seniors

For players 18+

Seniors’ teams are aged 18+. The club has a wide range of teams in all divisions from A - C grade. Some teams play for the social aspect, while others are competitive. Senior timeslots have traditionally been 12:30pm, 1:50pm, and 3:10pm, however this may change due to court availability.

Mixed

Mixed netball participation is increasing in the Inner West Netball Association.

 

Boys up to the age of 12 can play in their own age group. Boys turning 13 are eligible for mixed or all male competitions depending on what competition is being run by the IWNA.

 SHLNC Uniforms - available to order online soon

The Uniform shop will be open from Friday 16 January until Friday 20 February. Orders will be delivered to the players home. Order early to make sure you receive it on time!

 

***Please check the size guide to make sure the uniform will fit properly***
 

Players can choose to wear a shirt and shorts OR the dress. The boyleg bike shorts are not compulsory to wear under the dress - black bike shorts are fine.
